Who Wants to Remember Things Fast and Easily?

Think about these: Why is it so hard to memorize history but so easy to memorize lyrics to a song? And why is it much easier to remember celebrities on TV than the great heroes, emperors and idols in history?

You might be thinking that remembering something is easy, but as you can probably attest from the above examples, it’s not particularly "easy" either.

Training up your memory is key. The brain is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it becomes.

Here are some mnemonics that will help you to remember things, especially those things that you would normally have a hard time with:

1. Acronyms

We always easily forget the name of organizations or institutions that are unfamiliar to us. If you want to recall those names easily, try to form letters into a phrase.

Examples of companies which apply this skill to let people from all over the world recall their names easily include: "LV" for Louis Vuitton and “CK” for Calvin Klein. The tip is to capitalize the first letters of what you want to remember and spell them out into a word or phrase, which will be easier to remember.

2. Rhymes and Rhythm

Rhyming is one of the most effective ways to remember disparate things. Conversely, converting a Chinese poem into a song makes remembering it justa piece of cake. (I used to form lyrics out of our Chinese History studies and sing whatever tune I come up with.)

3. Word Games

Spice up your life by inventing funny phrases out of words difficult to transcribe to mind. Can't spell the word “Arithmetic”? Form “A Rat In The House May Eat The Ice Cream” into an image and recall it back taking only the first letters of the words in the phrase.

As for names of colleagues, you can also imagine something which is relevant to the person. For example, if her name is Blair, then try thinking of "a girl with a black hair" and add it into your reference list.

Other Suggestions

Improve Your Posture

Information goes from the outreaches of the body to the brain and back. The spine carries the crucial nerve supply from the brain that allows the body to function. This explains why we can have a better learning and feedback when we sit up straight than lie down studying in bed.

Jot Notes Down

If you're all grown up and outside school, don't be embarrassed to keep writing down the important information on your notebook. Don’t be embarrassed to read it verbally, even in a crowded public place! By hearing your own voice repeatedly, you will just be surprised later that you've memorized hundrdeds of words you've previously found abstruse.

Invest in Your Future. Invest in Wine.

With the global equity market in turmoil and sluggish local property market, alternative forms of investment have become increasingly popular. Wine investment is considerably one of the most attractive options now. With correct application of the basic fundamentals, investors could enjoy steady returns at minimum risk levels.

Essentially, wines are offered for sale while they’re still ageing in oak barrels, 2 to 5 years before they are bottled. Investing in wine have rewards which include securing highly sought-after wines that are difficult to obtain from great labels and great vintages, as well as securing the wines at a lower price than otherwise anticipated when they are out in the consumer market.

So what should a potential investor look for when investing in wine?

Wine Selection

Investment grade wines are the acknowledged and prestigious ‘blue chip’ wines that generate steady investment returns for investors. These wines have to be produced in limited quantity, be highly sought after worldwide and improve in quality over time. Demand for these wines will always remain high as the total number of bottles available will reduce as they are consumed, resulting in a rise in its price.

Invest in wines that have received at least 90 pointers and above by influential wine critic Robert Parker, who is undeniably the most influential wine critic in the world. Buy only in unmixed sealed original wooden case (OWC), as these will be worth the most and can be traded internationally.

Suggestion and Advice

Trusted through the years for its premium quality, Bordeaux wine prides on its established resale history and is still the primary investment medium. Fine Bordeaux wines are produced in limited quantities, which is the primary factor for the supply and demand theory to work on wine investment. Less than 1% of all the wines worldwide are investment grade and Bordeaux makes up 80% of these wines. Prices of fine Bordeaux wines can be tracked from their day of release “En Primeur” (or wine futures) till their auction sale, offering investors total transparency in prices.

Refrain from investing in wines that do not have a strong global market presence and demand as they are definitely high-risk and purely speculative. Avoid allocating too much of your wine portfolio in New World wines as they generally have a much shorter ageing potential and their vineyards do not practice Bordeaux’s limited production output to ensure the best return on investment.

Storage & Insurance

Ensure that your wines are stored in a temperature and humidity-controlled warehouse and that your investment can only be moved with your written approval. While many modes of commodity investments in the market would involve the investor being charged taxes at one point or another (for duties and excises etc.), wine investment is an exception.

There would be no costs incurred in taxes as wines bought for investment are usually stored in bonded warehouses (i.e. warehouses in which goods with unpaid duties are stored under bond and in joint custody of the importer, or his agent, and the customs office). You should also ensure that your wines are insured at full replacement value. If you buy via a wine brokerage company, this should be included in your wine portfolio.

Wine should be regarded as a medium to long-term investment, with a minimum 3-year holding period and the best returns over a 5 to 8-year period. But should your investment depreciate, you could always open a bottle to drown your sorrows!

Eyeing LASIK? Hope You Know These

Many people long to be freed from the debilitating experience of waking up to blurred vision and the inconveniences of wearing contact lenses and spectacles. One booming surgical eye procedure now is called LASIK eye surgery. Advertisements say that there's little to be feared for undergoing LASIK. But as in anything, we need to be informed about its risks, results and complications before finally deciding to go for it.

Here are some of the common patient concerns and answers as explained by Dr Lee Sao Bing, Clinical Director and Consultant Eye Specialist at Shinagawa LASIK Center:

Q: What are the risks of going blind?

A: With sight being so precious, it is natural to be concerned about the loss of vision after a LASIK procedure. For ideal candidates, LASIK is a very safe and effective procedure.

Q: Will it hurt?

A: Performed while the patient is fully conscious, a mild sedative is given to patients to ensure that they remain comfortable and they are given a topical anesthetic (eye drops) to numb the eye, so they experience no pain or discomfort during the procedure.

A sensation of pressure will be felt as the surgeon applies a vacuum ring just before his or her vision fades for a few seconds. Some patients may experience mild sensations similar to that of opening the eyes while swimming in chlorinated water, which diminishes after a few hours.

Q: How soon will I see the results?

A: The visual results of LASIK are usually very rapid and within hours of the surgery, most patients have functional vision. Immediately after the eye surgery vision will be a little blurry, but most patients achieve good vision the day of surgery and find that their eyes feel fairly normal within a day.

By the next day, most will see well enough to drive and go back to work; however immediate results can depend on a number of factors including age, amount of correction and individual healing characteristics. Usually it will take around a few weeks for full healing to take place and your new improved vision to take hold completely.

Q: What if I move my eye during the procedure?

A: Advanced computerized tracking systems that monitor eye movements, added to the experience and skill of your doctor will ensure that the surgical procedure is very precise.

As you will be awake throughout the procedure, your doctor will also talk to you during surgery so that you know what is happening and what to expect next.

Q: What are the post-operation complications?

A: With the advance of LASIK technology and medical processes, the documented risk of complications occurring in LASIK surgery is less than 1%.
These complications are generally temporary and treatable and include dry eyes and night visual disturbances (glare and haloes). Infection is very rare and if it does occur, there are good antibiotics to treat the condition. While in certain scenarios, your vision might be over or under corrected, this can easily be rectified through an enhancement operation 3 months later. Additionally, one of the other common complications to expect after an operation is having dry eyes but this is easily treatable.

Q: What about dry eyes?

A: Dry eyes may be caused by having LASIK, but they may also occur both before and after LASIK surgery, especially if you have a tendency for dry eyes. This is because during the LASIK procedure, a thin layer of tissue is created, called a flap, under which the actual laser energy is applied to reshape the cornea. But, when the flap is created, very fine cornea nerves may be severed.

This is a normal part of the procedure. However, these nerves are required in order to "signal" your lacrimal gland to produce tears. So, sometimes, this temporary interruption of corneal nerve impulses can actually cause a lesser amount of tears to be produced, resulting in dry eyes after LASIK.

Hence, all LASIK patients need to use artificial tears or lubricating drops as a matter of course, as they help the tear film reestablish itself after the LASIK procedure.

Planning to Buy a Hair Dryer? Read Me First!

Having the best blow dryer can be a great help in achieving your preferred selected hairstyle. Here are some points to consider when choosing the best blow dryer for your hair:

Choose one with at least 1800 watts.

If you're on busy and hectic schedule, you definitely don't want a hair dryer that takes forever to do its job. Normally, hair driers can run as high as 2000 watts. But you can get by with as little as 1800 watts.

If you're really pressed for time, you may want to consider the new thermal styling tools that use negative ionic energy to dry your hair in about half the time of a conventional blow dryer. What's more beneficial is that they produce moisture into your hair during the drying process, making your hair healthier. The only drawback for most is the pricey cost.

Choose one with a nozzle attachment.

A nozzle attachment allows the flow of warm air to be more focused so you can direct the flow of heat to certain parts of your hair that may be hard to reach. This is particularly effective for straightening your hair, as it tends to have a smoothing effect on the hair shaft when directed downwards.

Choose one with a diffuser attachment.

This is useful if you have curly hair and want to enhance your look. This enables you to enhance the curls of your hair while taming any unwanted frizz.

Choose one which offers several heat settings.

At the very least, you'll need a hot or warm setting and a cooler one. The cooler setting will come in handy if you color treat your hair and have sustained damage which may respond poorly to heat. The cooler setting can also help to seal the cuticle of your hair which helps to hold your hairstyle in place. The hotter setting is convenient if you have relatively strong, undamaged hair and you need to dry it quickly.

Choose one which is light-weight.

You don't want to strain your arms in blow-drying your hair, right? If you have long and thick hair, chances are, you'll be holding the blow dryer for long periods of time to get your long hair dry. Putting your arms up and carrying a heavy blow dryer may cause hand fatigue. If you're going to be using your dryer a lot,  choose one that's lighter in weight is best.

Also suggested if possible is you test out the blow dryer on your hair for a couple of minutes before proceeding with your purchase, to complete the overall check.

How to Combat Varicose Veins at Home

Here are a number of ways on how you can prevent varicose veins from growing longer like purple and green snakes on your skin and treat them on your own.

1. Exercise regularly.

Exercise increases the body’s ability to circulate blood. Maintaining a good weight through a daily exercise routine also keeps you from being obese. You don't want to strain your legs. Your legs should be able to carry your body weight without putting too much pressure which causing varicose veins.

In line with this, don't lift weights more than you can really handle.

2. Don't cross your legs for long periods of time.

Leg crossing is a matter of routine rather than manners for women, especially when wearing skirts. This is okay if only for a few minutes. But when done in a long time, crossing your legs will really slow the flow of blood from your leg veins up to your heart. This increases the pressure inside your leg veins and distends the veins in your lower leg and ankle, causing varicose veins.

3. Don't wear tight clothes.

Tight clothes restrict blood flow. Women should wear loose and comfortable clothing more often. Wearing compression stockings for Varicose Veins is often the first line of treatment at home.

4. Have a healthy and balanced diet.

Food high in fiber such as fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes help in warding off varicose veins. Physicians advise women to add herbs like bilberry or horse-chestnut to their diets. Others find relief with gotu kola or Butcher’s Broom.

Eat as many blackberries and cherries as you can. Including ginger, onions, garlic and pineapple in your diet is also beneficial.

5. Elevate your legs for 20-30 minutes a day.

Recommended elevation level of the legs is above the heart. You can do this while watching TV, sitting down to read or preparing for sleep.

Truth or Myth: Wearing High Heels Causes Varicose Veins

In the Philippines where I come from, Filipino female workers would usually leave their high heels in the office's drawer or workstation. They change their footwear from comfy slippers or "step-ins" to business or formal high-heeled shoes upon arrival. Corporate world aside, store attendants who are required by management to wear high heels while they stand for about 8 hours long attending to customers also change into flat shoes after work.

When I got to Singapore, day in and day out, I see many Singaporean ladies wearing really high-heeled pumps and stilettos while standing for a long time in the MRT or walking long distances to work. How can they stand the pain? I asked one local and she said she's just so used to wearing them already that she doesn't care about the pain anymore.

The females here wear corporate dresses or skirts, exposing their legs which have varicose veins.

Question is, does wearing high heels cause varicose veins?

In the Internet, at least, there are no real explanations pointing to "yes" as answer. Doctors do not have specific study results that can conclude this either. Jeffrey H. Miller, M.D. of Novi, MI conferred that there is no proven evidence that high heels cause varicose veins other than potentially sore feet (and back pain).

Craig I. Schwartz, D.O. of Vein Centers for Excellence of Kansas City shared that
"high heels minimize the full range of motion of the foot and ankle when walking and therefore decrease the amount of flow by the "muscle pump" of the calf causing the vein issues."

The true reasons why varicose veins come out are of heredity, genetic or a history of blood clots. Mostly, women are likely to develop these spider veins than men, especially pregnant women, those taking birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy.

Lucky for you if varicose veins don't run in the family. But still be careful. Don't stand for long periods of time as there will be more strain on the legs and blood vessels. Varicose veins occur when the valve inside the vein becomes weak and so allows blood to leak and pool inside.

Why Are Most Online Writers Selfish?

As I've come across reading hundreds of online articles now, I have noticed one common trend (or is it a rule, I'm not sure): online writers, bloggers, webmasters and/or marketers alike avoid linking out to other website links other than theirs. Why is this so?

If you're one of these people, do you feel that you're doing yourself a disservice by including outbound links? Do you fear that you will somehow lose your Google Page Rank by doing this? Or are you just too lazy to look for topics that can make your article be a better source of info?

Readers will be more interested in what they're reading (in this case, your article's topic) if they can find other articles for followup. As a reader myself, I find outbound links helpful as I need not go to a search engine for related contents.

If you're thinking that outbound links will add little value or nothing to your ranking, or drain your Google Page Rank (by metaphysically jumping to other pages), then think about this:

Let’s suppose that the Google Page Rank of one "Master Website" is at 5 and you're linking out to this site's posts which you found relevant to your article’s theme. If you're very lucky, this "Master Website" might give you a back link in return, and that will only improve your ranking. If you're linking to good, non-spam, non-link farm sites, reciprocal links will not harm your Page Rank. The incoming karma is just as marginal as the one you give out, but all those bits and pieces will add up over time.

So there you go: It's okay to add outbounds link into your posts but make sure the links don't cause problem. Choose links that are relevant to your article, and keep the outbound links spread throughout the body of the article.

Happy writing!

Give Me 3 Minutes and I'll Make You a Good Link Exchanger

Link exchanging is one online method of free advertising and promotion. If done properly, link exchanging can improve your search engine rankings, increase your web traffic and help you make more money online. There are three different types of link exchange you have to know:
  1. Reciprocal Linking is when you place a link on your site and they in turn place your link on their site.

  2. One Way Links, very powerful for SEO (search engine optimization), work when you get your link on a site but do not have to place their link on your site. Example is when a blogger or author of a site cites your article in their post.
  3. Three Way Linking is a link exchange among three domains instead of two. This type of linking seems more natural and can be more effective in improving your page rank.
Here are some helpful tips on how to manage your link exchange program:

Look for quality websites.

Don't just paste your links anywhere (e.g. unrelated sites or irrelevant forums) that would take it. It's best if you can find quality sites of which topics can be connected to yours. For example: if you own a site promoting gym equipments, exchanging links with an online flower shop wouldn’t count as effective. You can opt to build relationships and exchange links with those which sell multivitamins or supplements for body builders.

DO NOT exchange with link farms or FFA (Free for All) sites which just list every type of link submitted to them.

Build your links slowly but surely.

Take your time submitting your links to directories online. Manual submission is always better for your ranking. When you use too many automated link submission sites too fast, Google (and other search engines) will be flagged.

Submit articles for one way links.

Writing and publishing articles is always a safe and powerful promotion method. It will not only build your reputation and give you free advertising, it will also give you a lot of one-way links.

Post on blogs/forums to get more links to your site.

Posting comments on blogs and getting involved in forums is a good way to get more links back to your site. Do not post frivolously. Be sure to write meaningful and involved posts. Give advice and answer questions when you can.

Conduct a regular checking to make sure your links are not removed.

Once you do a reciprocal link exchange with a webmaster, always do periodic checks to make sure they do not remove your link or let their domain expire. If this does happen, you will want to remove their link from your site, too.

Conclusion

Link exchanging, as with any effective promotion method, takes work, diligence and commitment. It is free and it can do a world of good for your website and business. But learn the proper way to conduct your link exchange campaign and you will be delighted with the results!

How to Establish Your Presence in Twitter - 6 Easy Steps

People on Twitter are media savvy, wide readers who share common interests and connect with others. With this trend, Twitter can be a powerful social media tool to promote your website or market your business' products and/or services. Here are ways on how to make your mark and establish yourself as a tweeter in Twitter:

Step 1

Join Twitter and sign up for an account. Start tweeting. Get used to writing short tweets and sharing important information from your company, blog or yourself. Not every tweet has to relate directly to your these big three. Anything that interests people can be valuable.

Step 2

Follow Twitter users who tweet about topics that are relevant to your domain. When you begin following people, people will start following you back. Soon, more and more people will also get potential targets to start reading and replying to your tweets (symbol is '@'). Example: @rochkirstin How are you today?

Step 3

Post tweets with links to your blog and/or individual articles. After each post, use relevant hash tags (symbol is '#'). For instance, if you're area of specialty is about healthy living, after the message, type #healthyliving. This will allow your post to show up when people search for the term 'healthyliving.'

Step 4

Read the topics that you post about on Twitter. For example, if you post about low fat foods, read posts with the hash tag #lowfatfoods. When you find a post that you find interesting, reply to it. The person who wrote the post will read your reply. In the process, you may attract a new reader who will follow your blog or visit your company website.

Step 5

Tweet regularly. Engage people that read your tweets. Ask questions and encourage people to answer. Tweet random (but relevant) things without linking to your blog so your Twitter account is more than an advertisement.

Step 6

Feel free to ask people to repost links to your website on their Twitter acounts, blogs and other social media outlets. In exchange, offer to do the same for those who help you out. You'll meet great people and find new, exciting blogs and websites.

If You Don't Try Online Dating Now, You'll Hate Yourself Later!

You're dying to find a great potential partner in life. You're pressured by all your friends and relatives to get married. The society's media also urges you to finally start a family of your own and enjoy life.

Problem is, you've ran out of acquaintances, mutual friends, community friends, school batch mates and colleagues to date with.

Solution is, you've still got the online dating services. Have a slice of the "hope" pie they offer. "Busted" may not really be your middle name. Well, you never know unless you try.

For starters, the whole idea of online dating stamps may seem unusual and shivery. We hear wicked experiences from friends that turn out to be disasters. Of course, identity and honesty issues are common perils lingering in the cyber space. But regardless offline or online dating, unfortunate incidents occur anyway. So in any case, whatever your stake, believe that there is someone ready and waiting to ply for your desires and jump into the bandwagon.

Before doing so, you need to have cyber seatbelts on and know the rules of speed limits and traffic lights. If not, there would be complete lawlessness and chaos. Here are some very significant online dating advices you should take note of:

1. DO NOT give out any of your private information (e.g. phone numbers, home address and financial details).

Giving out a bulk of your personal information makes you vulnerable of falling into traps identity theft or being victimized by a cyber-sneak. Also, don’t dare to expose your darkest secrets. When things are done, you can be blackmailed.

You can maintain your anonymity while you cross each suitor off the list. For further interaction with safety on the line, you can tell your likes and dislikes, interests and beliefs and qualities about yourself.

2. Enter your new date’s name on a search engine.

Be a spy. At least, you can tell if you’re dating someone with good background apart from what he or she is telling you. Research hard and it will pay off.

3. Meet up offline only when you’re ready.

This is when you feel that there’s really a connection that can go a long way ahead. Else, take your time slowly as you do not want to be rushed into a meeting when you are unsure. Trust your gut to tell you if it seems alright. It is also better to consult a dear friend on these matters before agreeing to a meeting.

When you decide to go for that first date, meet up in a place where there’s lot of people around. Tell your best friends about it so they that can back you up later on, for security.

Last Say

Finding the ideal person through online dating sites is almost the same as it is done in real life; there is no fool-proof way of knowing which one is right for you without trying out to converse with a few.

Now You Can Defeat Jealousy Like Plants Defeat Zombies

To match the previous tips for making your special someone jealous, here are antidotes to cure the madness of jealousy. You know, as much as we can feel flattered by it, jealousy can be such a rage which can damage relationships and affect psychology at worst. It can possibly become even deadlier let alone not answered.

This and add the fact that dealing with a jealous partner creates quite an irritating tension, you sure don't want to miss knowing how to handle a jealous type of partner. Here are some helpful tips to turn that green-eyed monster's eyes back to normal again.

1. Talk--is cheap but is important.

Sit down and relax. Initiate a conversation with your partner and learn what makes him or her jealous. Instead of jumping into conclusions and going for accusations, ask for specific situations bring out this undesirable trait. Let your partner finally admit that he or she has the jealousy problem. Find out if it's innate with the personality. Are there specific people he or she is feeling jealous over? Dig deep within and pinpoint exactly the instances or people that make him or her the most uncomfortable.

Ask for suggestions on how you can help alleviating the emotional pain. Until you don't have satisfactory answers to these, you will never learn how to deal with jealousy and eliminate it out of your relationship.

Once you get the answers, show understanding and move on.

2. Give honest-to-goodness assurance.

Reassure of your love and affection. Show that you care.

Compliment your partner. Utter sweet and meaningful praises to combat insecurity. Make him or her feel extra special. Reminisce sweet moments when you're together. Remind him or her of times when you're attracted to him or her and tell all the great attributes and reasons why you like him or her so much.

3. Make yourself a defined couple: always together.

In parties, occasions or social events, always bring your partner together with you. Don't visit any place alone, without his or her consent or knowledge.

Try to shy away from guys or gals night out. Make your partner feel that his or her presence matters.

If after some time, you are still experiencing jealousy within your relationship, you may want to diagnose whether or not you still have a healthy relationship. But on the other hand, accept that all unions will have some type of relationship issues at some point. If you feel the need to consult a counselor for advice and guidance, then go ahead and do so.
Believe that you can fix things. Accept that jealousy is a part of everyone's makeup and be prepared to acknowledge it. Work on that spark once more, build on trust and brush your teeth--kiss up and love love love!

No-sweat Ways on How to Make Him Jealous

Jealousy is often regarded as a negative emotion, particularly of insecurity and lack of conviction in oneself. However, in some special cases, as much as jealousy is a treacherous knife to relationships, it is also a way to prove how much your boyfriend or significant other loves you.

Here are tried and tested ways (oh yes!) on how to make him jealous:

1. Comment to posts, pictures, videos, notes and activities of your other guy friends in Facebook/other social networking sites publicly.

The closer you seem together and the better your connection with them, the more your guy will think he's got competition. When he asks a lot about your conversations and relationships with them, he's definitely curious or even already jealous!

To exacerbate more, provide elaborate and descriptive answers of how they're making you smile or how good they are at entertaining you. Give him a better picture of how you're enjoying their company.

2. Fill your social calendar with activities and let him know of your busy schedule.

Build up your image as a social woman--even if you're not one. Say no at least twice whenever he asks for a date. Just say your day has been booked weeks earlier.

You can spend some time alone window-shopping, watching movies, reading books, cleaning the house, etc. But don't tell him where you'll spend the day and what your agenda is. This empowerment will drive him crazy for sure.

If you sense that his attention has been caught, continue playing with his mind in the meantime and get back to him the following week.

3. Go on with friendly dates.

This can be with a group of male-female mix of friends or occasionally just male friends. Avoid the serious, romantic encounters, though. When he learns about this, he will feel challenged and think the other guys may have found something in you that he missed. He may also feel threatened and think that others are better than him.

Jealousy is part of human nature, many people say. Love without jealousy means nothing. He being jealous at times can be healthy because then you'll know he takes you as his empire. You are the the dearest in his life. Intentionally making him feel jealous can be quite fun and wicked, but be careful not to overdo it.

If you think your boyfriend is already the jealousy type then don't attempt to do the tips in this post, as over jealousy can turn to bitterness and awkward situations. Worst thing is when he feels so furious that he thinks of you as a cheater. Then it's time to turn and read my upcoming article for ways on how to deal with jealousy.

Little Known Ways to Talk Effectively and Sell

Consider for a moment a world where there is chocolate but no vanilla.
Peanut butter but no jelly.
Professional soccer teams but no games.
When selling, too many consultants focus only on half of the story. Because of this, they miss out on a lot of the available opportunities. Where's the half of their focus go onto? Pain.

Don't get me wrong. This post is about emphasizing gains as well the importance of hearing out the pains of clients. Knowing their problems go a long way towards helping you discover how your services can help.

The secret is to uncover your prospect’s pain and sell your products and services as solutions. Prospective clients would much rather talk than listen to you; and if YOU listen carefully, you'll be able to solve their problems and paint a picture of a future they weren't able to see for themselves. Their gratitude will reach no boundaries.

Here are some suggested questions that look to the future, which might help both of you analyze their current situation:
  1. What's the one problem you'd give anything to solve?
  2. What's not working as it should?
  3. If you could create the perfect business environment, life for you, what would that be?

By securing their answers, you will be able to paint the most compelling, impactful and comprehensive vision of a new and better reality for your clients. Then you'll have intelligent hints on how to provide and advise them with available solutions that are already present in your hands.

Conclusions

By focusing on afflictions and not on their goals and aspirations this time for the business, you give yourself not only the opportunity to solve important problems, but the chance to help them realize their dreams.

Aspirations...you complete me. You had me at hello. But it's only when afflictions are combined when the circle of life is completed.

Practice and practice and you’ll find yourself improving from one conversation and one prospect client for sales. Your relationships will get richer, your relationships deeper and your sales success greater.

Tell Me, Are Smart Phone Casings Really Necessary?

Before the emergence and era of smart phones, cell phones had original casings that go with the unit which can be removed and replaced, else their "intestines" (parts or boards) and keypads will be exposed and be out of place. There's no debate on whether or not the phone casing is a must here because it's part of the body itself.

CellPhones

On the contrary, smart phones do not need casings because they already are cased in with an outer shell, which is irremovable.

But turn to your left, right, front and back. In all levels and degrees, smart phone users have fit another casing made up of either jelly, plastic, rubber, leather, silicone, metal, steel, fabric or other unique materials.

Does this case or protector stand as an artsy unneeded dazzle or an indispensable vital armor? If it's really needed then why didn't Apple, Samsung, HTC, Nokia and other phone manufacturers include this together with the phone in the box? Tell Me, Are Smart Phone Casings Really Necessary?

I've asked some phone sellers for their thoughts and rationalizations, to validate or counter my understanding.

To summarize, I'm sold to the idea that buying and installing a case is a must if you want to keep your phone in a good and stable condition.

Adding up another phone case helps protect the phone's surface and screen from scratches, dents and breakage. When it comes to functionality, some cases may offer just mere covering and nice design, while others promise a snug fit, a good grip and optimal protection from scratches, breaks, bumps, falls, water, dirt and dust. The phone case-slash-accessory also draws movements created accidentally to better display images in Portrait or Landscape, whichever implicitly put or acted upon by the user.

In the case of irresponsible adults or couples who cannot handle the idea of having a kid or becoming parents, prominent choice is either to put the child up for adoption or abortion.

I have long realized that this is a much controversial and touchy subject, after receiving harsh comments in my previous blog in Friendster (now gone). I admit that I wrote the post regarding abortion before with solid grounds pro the movement (to ease out poverty issues and distress particularly in the Philippines). Now I aim to take it lighter by offering the option of adoption and asking just some questions which can trigger sthe election of a choice.

Here goes: Abortion versus Adoption

Abortion has been in the "hot seat" for many years in many countries, and it will continue to be debated through centuries to come, I am sure.

If you're in the midst of an unwanted pregnancy and you  and/or your "beloved" partner know that nurturing and supporting the child to grow is highly impossble, oftentimes the first thing that comes to mind is to abort the baby (or fetus). Listed are considerations to ponder upon:
  1. Have you and your partner agreed to undergo the painful operation of abortion?
  2. Is this something that has been thought through to the fullest extent? Are you ready to give up the life of a child of God for whatever reasons may be?
  3. Have you consulted their parents, mentors, elders or some professional counselor who can provide reasonable advice?
  4. Are you prepared for the emotional havoc that this choice is sure to place on your mind later on? Can you handle this child's missed life being on your conscience? Are you prepared for the physical, psychological and emotional pain that will come almost naturally with abortion?
  5. Have you prepared themselves for arguments that will come (society speaking)?
On the other hand, adoption is the more civil way for parents to do the "right thing" for themselves and their child, as it gives the child a chance to live. That, above all else, is a wonderful thing. Still, there are things to consider before deciding to place the child for adoption:
  1. Imagine five to ten years from now. Will you going to regret this decision, knowing that your child belongs to someone else? Have you thought into the future?
  2. What happens if this child finds you and asks WHY? Can you answer with a clear conscience and heart?
  3. Are you prepared to deal with the emotions that you are sure to fight with after?
  4. When you find out that your child seeks for you, will you fight for his return? What about the foster parents of the child?
Adoption and abortion--both have their drawbacks. The final conclusion should be carefully made by parents and not just any one. Young men and women should actively participate in family planning programs, cooperate and help governemnts to reduce the numbers of such problems by voluntarlily using copntraceptives. Better yet, unmarried couples should patiently wait until they become accountable enough for their actions before engaging in sex.

Overeating Should Be Out of My System

And so it should be out in yours! Here's how:
  1. Keep away from "hunger eye." Pay attention to the quantity of food you consume per meal in a day. Mind the number of servings you take and be selective of what you eat. If your meal comprises of variety of dishes and you are tempted to try all of them, make sure you have small servings of each of them. Go for food that are healthy and have lesser calorie count.
  2. Have regular time intervals for eating. Eating five times a day (with ample amount of food intake) is recommended by many online sources and books I've read. Don't allow yourself to be starved as you will tend to overeat in your next meal thinking of compensating for the period of hunger.
  3. Drink a glass of water or a bowl of appetizing soup before having a meal. This is to fill your stomach with liquid and thus prevent you from indulgence. Green salads will also do, or any fiber-rich food that gives the effect of making you feel fuller to curb further temptation come actual meal.
  4. Don't be persuaded by your emotions and moods that influence eating habits. Find signals and slow or calm yourself down before you're too stuffed.
  5. Don't hang out in restaurants, food counters or cafeterias often. In the same coin, don't buy tidbits or food you can't possibly resist for inappropriate snacks. Don't hang out with the same overeating people! :D

How to Free Yourself From Acne Problems

When I was 13, insecurity came to me. It was really bad. This was when the start of adolescence stage knocked on my door. Aside from my weight, acne problems started propping out. Of course, to counter off my weight problem, I had to take extreme exercises and got disciplined in improving my look

As for the "acne" part, many teenagers are experiencing the same. You should know that the beauty products over the shelves are not targeted to and used by all. Each skin type is different.

To help clear your skin, the best advice is to visit a dermatologist. If you can't afford to go to one, nevertheless, here are basic tips which might help you:
  1. Wash your face thoroughly a few times a day. Bacteria seep in through open pores and you don't want to have them stay and spread out.
  2. Watch your diet and improve on it. Try replacing sweets and junk food with various vegetables and fruits.
  3. DO NOT pop your zits because once you do, all bacteria are released and can end up in more of the pores of your face, causing larger breakouts. So when you feel the need for pimple popping, you better off washing your face instead.
  4. Cut back on your cosmetics. When you apply makeup, you are blocking your pores with the product and sealing in any dirt that is in your pores. By just focusing on doing your eyes and lips, you will end up eliminating those cover ups which block the pores in your face.
  5. DO NOT touch your face with your hands. There is a buildup of germs on your hands, because of everything you touch through the day. At some point during the day, if you're the type that touches your face subconsciously, clean both hands with a sanitizer, alcohol or soap with water just about every hour or so.
  6. Get enough sleep and attempt to remove the stress in your life. When your body is fatigued or perhaps stressed out, your system is unable to fight off the bacteria effectively and the next thing you know, you'll have more acne.

How to Choose the Best Swimsuit For Your Body Type

Every time I go out to beaches and public swimming pools, I observe how women wear their swimsuits. I'm not interested in looking through their bodies and judging them through their figures. Rather, I'm concerned about the type of swimwear they're clad with. What's flattering and not? What's in and out? All-year round and not just in the summer, people go swimming. As a normal female human being, you are required to have need at least one swimming attire, one swimsuit that will not be garbage to everybody's eyes as to embarrass yourself but one that will certainly flatter and complement your shape.

Here are some tips that I've collected for choosing the best swimsuit for your body type, in the hopes that they will inspire confidence. Some of them are just theoretical for me. Use what works for you.

If you have a large waistline but small frame (slim shoulders), go for a solid-colored tank top and a patterned bottom for a balanced look. For a more flattering effect, opt for a maillot (one-piece bathing suit) with tummy control.

If you have larger hips or butt and small frame and waist, don't buy colorful bottoms as they will help emphasize your hips more. Instead, try suits with dark and solid colors (preferably skirt type) and a patterned top.

If you have small bust problems, try a halter bikini padded top that has a band, seam or ruffles. To enhance your cleavage, fit into triangle bikini tops with a thin foam liner to add volume to your bust line.

If you're the slender, athletic type with broad shoulders and waist and hips that are the similar in width, go for one-piece or two-piece suits with detailing around the waist to help create a more hourglass shape. If this is you, you're lucky because just about any classic styled bathing suit should look fine for your figure.

Apart from the look of it, comfort is important. After window-shopping for a perfect swimsuit, try on whatever catches your eye based on the guidelines above. Crucial to this comfort issue is coverage.  The nicer your body, the less coverage you need, unless you’re shy or you’re smart and want to save your skin from sun damage. You can apply sunscreen and sunless tanner and have a beautiful glowing tan without the sun exposure. Just be sure to evenly distribute and don't over apply the self tanner and end up looking a shade or orange. If you plan to be swimming or playing volleyball or surfing, you may want more coverage because a suit that covers more of you also tends to hang on, where flimsier, actually make that skimpier, things might fall off or out.

With board shorts, boy shorts and hipster bikinis, we can buy suits that fit even in the middle of a plus size day or PMS fat attack. A well-cut one-piece can hide and camouflage an assortment of figure flaws. Contrary to what some experts will tell you, large floral designs do not minimize a heavy body, and you don’t have to wear black either. Depending on where the chubbiness lies, a smaller-coverage suit may turn out to be more flattering than the high-coverage suit you didn’t want to buy anyway. No one can possibly see all the lumps and bumps as the girl in the bathing suit in the mirror does, so pick the least worst suit you can find, and get out there and play!

Choosing the right swimsuit encompasses a lot of decision-making and sprees of creativity. Your final choice is still personal and tailored to your taste. Before you head to the counter to purchase one, just make sure you buy something that won’t come apart when it hits the water.

Why Should Students Wear School Uniforms?

From pre-school to secondary school, I was in a disciplined school which required the wearing of uniforms. I wasn't bothered by the idea, order or act. Neither had I ever had any objections to it.

In college, freedom of wearing whatever clothing was given. It was also that time when a professor asked us to think if we'd rather wear uniforms to school or our own casual clothing exposing our own sense of styles. At first, in my mind, I was quick to react: "Of course, I'd choose not wearing uniforms." But as soon as he gave us reasons why wearing school uniforms is better off, I had to say I changed my mind. Here are those reasons:

1. Save time

If students would wear the same clothes in every single day of their schooling years, time spent worrying about fashion and about how others would judge them will be lessened or better yet completely be gone. Picking out clothes in the morning and laundry work will also be saved. If wearing of uniforms is strictly regulated by the school, students will have more time and concentration on learning, which is after all the raison d'être of being at school.

2. Gain respect

Wearing of uniforms puts the students on the same page. Since all would appear the same, there is no struggling to fit in, all are equal and labels will not exist. Nobody will be seen as poor or rich, in vogue or old-fashioned.

3. Hold responsibility

Uniforms provide identity maybe not of the student per se but largely of the school. Donning the uniform sanctioned by the rules of the school is achieving that statement which tells to the greater public that those students are associated with the institution. Therefore, students have to be mindful that they must be disciplined and respective everywhere, as they represent their school.

Learning How to Learn

How will you learn how to...say cook, paint, program, dance, troubleshoot, network, etc. if you don't know how to "learn"? That is the question.
How do we learn?

Did you know that our brain consists of billions of neural cells that are connected to one another? Yes. When we're in the act of learning, these cells form sets of connections. Our brain cells are always working, regardless the subject matter we are studying or things we are doing. The difference in what we learn lies in how we learn.

A Matter of Practice & Repetition

When we learn, we are trying to create patterns of connectivity in our brain. Neurons connect together and this is accomplished by repeating sets of behaviors or experiences.

Learning to learn is tantamount to learning anything else. It takes practice. This is why sometimes people repeat words aloud (yes, I do this from primary school to university) or solve mathematical equations from simple arithmetic to quantum physics over and over. Taking notes when someone talks also helps because you hear it once and then repeat it when you pen it down.

Learning: Recognizing & Remembering?

Some people think of learning as remembering sets of facts. It can be that, sometimes, but learning is more like recognition than remembering. Because you are trying to build networks of neural cells, it is better to learn a connected whole rather than unconnected parts, where the connected whole you are learning in one domain has the same pattern as a connected whole you already know in another domain.

For instance, think about learning how to dance. I can explain to you the steps, forms, rhythm, timing and mechanics and you can understand all of that, but you still have to try to do the dance yourself to put them altogether in your brain and body system before you get good at it. You have to grow your neural connections in just the same way you grow your muscles.

Think, always, about how you are learning and what you are learning at any given moment and  become your very own master of the art of learning how to learn.

Why Doctors Leave When You Undress

You know those checkups which require you to take your clothes off for the physicians to better examine whichever body part that's concerned? And then he/she will leave you in the room, giving you some privacy, when later he/she will see you in your birthday suit anyway. Why is that? I find the psychology behind it interesting.

So I've asked around and searched through forums. One good explanation is that the doctor honors respect and manners. In general, getting undressed in front of a person you are not involved is demoralizing or humiliating. There have been newspaper reports from many countries raised by patients who find the act of "being watched" (or stared at, even) violating.

Normally, the patient will feel very uncomfortable undressing in front of the doctor, and the doctor will also feel ashamed by looking, especially if they are opposite sexes. Another is to save time, perhaps? Whilst the patient is undressing, the doctor can attend to some other work in the background, thus saving both of them the inclination to be more embarrassed.

In some other cases, patients are not totally required to be naked but only strip to put on a medical gown. It all depends on your illness or reason for going to the doctor.

Predicting Consequences 101

"I never thought that this would happen..."

We would almost always utter this sentence after disasters and mishaps. Common people are not clairvoyance; and we are not God. The fact is that in the twists and turns of life, it's just hard to predict consequences. Schools and training institutions never seemed to think about including this topic in lesson plans. And even if they have, there's just too much viable combinations and permutations of causes and effects that we won't be able to track them all down.

Although predicting consequences is partly of science, mathematics and visualization, we may still encounter the "after-effects" differently according to the decisions and involvements of others. However, at the least, we can essentially practice the skill of creating a mental model imagining the sequence of events that would follow. We can ask ourselves "what would likely happen if...?" in every defining situation.

The danger in such cases is focusing on what you want to happen rather than what might happen instead. For example, when preparing for a bungee jump, you may think to yourself that you can make it alive. Yes, this is good. Talk about positivity. But you also need to visualize not landing successfully. What would happen then? Have you even contemplated the likely outcome of being crippled for the rest of your life or being injured severely after?

This is where the math and science come into the picture. You need to calculate the probabilities of different outcomes and compare present, past and future. If, for instance, you are looking at the height of the free fall, you should be asking, "How many times have I successfully jumped maybe a tenth of this height? How many times have I failed?" If you don't know, you should know enough to attempt a test jump over level ground.

People don't think ahead. So you should build the habit of asking yourself, "what will happen next?" Watch out for situations and interactions unfold in the environment around you and try to predict the outcome. Write down or blog your predictions. With practice, you will become expert at predicting consequences. Nevertheless, pray.

Over time, you will begin to observe patterns and generalities--things that make consequences even easier to predict. Things fall, for example. Glass breaks. People get mad when you insult them. Hot things will be dropped. Dogs sometimes bite. Public transportation comes late. These sorts of generalizations or "common sense" will help you avoid unexpected, and sometimes damaging, consequences.

When You Swallowed a Chewing Gum

When I was less than five years old, whenever I chew a gum, my mom would say that chewing gum is so sticky that, if swallowed, it will cause the internal walls of the intestines to stick together. Adding to this was the scary thought that it will stay inside my intestines for years because it is not digestible.

What Really Happens When You Swallowed a Bubble Gum?

Over the years, I have accidentally swallowed about...two gums. And when I was matured enough, I've researched on the fact (or myth) about the actual effects that will result.

I found that the body will just absorb what it can from the gum, which is mostly the sweet ingredients. The rest is the indigestible gum resin or base, which like any other indigestible food or fiber, will pass through the intestines without causing any harm in one to three days. So what happened to the gum I have carelessly ingested? Well, it just ended up in the toilet long ago.

Why Did Our Parents Made Up the "Joke"?

This is because there are rare instances of gum contributing to an intestinal blockage. This happens when a person (more likely a child) took in a gum when he/she was already constipated or has swallowed large quantities along with indigestible food such as sunflower seed shells. Therefore, children should always be encouraged to throw away their gum when finished rather than swallowing it, but there is no risk of it remaining in the system for years.

Why You Should Wear Eyeglasses

If your eyes have grade; that is.

Having excellent eyesight is important; however, with the advent of computers and mobile phones, people's eyes are long staring at these screens without blinking much. Also because of poorer diet, our eyes tend to become unhealthier and poorer each day. Thanks to eyeglasses, people's lives are changed in a really good way.

Eye consultation and visit to ophthalmologists should be done once or twice a year. If you're one who haven't consulted an eye doctor yet or opted to wear eyeglasses when you have to, your bad habit will increase the diopter and this may continue if not treated at once. Additional problems might also prop out.

For instance, if you have a poor eyesight, you also won't have a crystal clear future in socializing. Why? It is hard to talk and to have friends when you are not able to see them on the street for saying simple “hello." Another is the case of driving. If the eyesight problems appeared after getting the driving license, accidents are very likely occur. You are not only risking your life while driving without using glasses, but you are also risking the life of other innocent people.

The main problem is that we are able to adapt. The person with poor eye-sight have no idea for his/her problem until he/she is able to see the difference.

If you are enlarging this article with some kind of zoom or you are reading it from really short distance, you have eye problems. There is nothing to worry about, though. The only thing that you need to do is to visit your ophthalmologist and buy the right lens or grade of glasses that you need. (Make sure to choose frames that suit the shape of your face and your skin color!)

There are many people who are not feeling comfortable wearing glasses, there is solution for them, too: contact lenses or the current laser technology. So instead of squinting much or simulating that you can see everything that others can, go and fix your eye sight!

5 Easy Ways to Lose Weight Without Stress

If you’re like normal people, you'd want to lose a few pounds but have problems of keeping your diet or exercise regimes. So you'll be in search of ways on how to do this without having to shed a tremendous amount of effort on top of what you already do during the course of the day.

Luckily, I can share with you some suggestions on losing weight sans the word drastic. Yes! There are things that you can do little by little (but continuously and patiently) that you won't notice you're making any extra effort at all.

1. Never stay still.

If you work in a usual 8-hour office job, make sure that you’re always moving something. You can stand up every 15-20 minutes, stretch, go to the toilet and stomp your way in and out. You can also stay seated but move your arms around, tilt your head or fidget with your feet on the floor. These simple exercises will help to burn more calories than you wouldn’t have done if you weren’t bothering.

2. Take your meal to work.

Keep out from buying food from the cafeteria ever day at work. Manage to get healthier food (by preparing on your own perhaps). If you start to make your own food instead, then you have the ability to control just what goes into your lunch box, meaning that you will consume many fewer calories during the course of the day.

3. Alight at one bus station or floor in the office building in the lift before the supposed.

This is waaaay easy! Walking (or stepping up) is a good exercise. You would only add an extra two to three minutes onto the journies of most people. However, if you do this on a regular basis then it can really make a difference to the amount of calories that you burn.

4. Drink ice cold water.

If you drink cold water, this means that your body will have to use energy in order to heat it up. This will result to having more calories burned than it would if it was at room temperature.

5. Buy smaller clothes.

This is to help you become inspired and look forward to your goal--to fit in those clothes! If our clothes are just okay or big for us, then there is nothing really to stop us from reaching for the biscuit tin. But if you buy things that are a little bit tight for you at the time if you buying them, they you are much more likely to want to slim into them meaning that you will be more restricted and strict with yourself during the course of your diet.

If you choose to take these tips then, while they won’t take over your whole life, you will be able to lose weight little by little as you just go about your daily business.

How To Have Privacy With the New Facebook Timeline

At one glance, the new Facebook timeline might seem that it's too much beating with all your posts and history. Activities and apps used are shared more publicly over to friends and your network. Hence, privacy concerns, all the more, must be kept in mind. Certain settings need to be adjusted to ensure that your posts are not completely or overly exposed unintentionally.

Let me take you through some of the major things you should check.

1. View your profile as a different user

Simply go to your profile and click on the small icon on the right, choose “View As…” to choose a person to view the profile as.

If you have set your own custom filters (by having different friend lists), choose one family member, school mate, office mate or some acquaintance. This will give you an idea how these different types of people can see your profile. Check your profile like this before and after checking the following settings.

2. Set your default post settings

Whenever you post something on Facebook, be wary of the network or group of people you're sharing it to. In the old version of Facebook [wall], you cannot change the privacy settings of posted posts. In the new timeline, you can still limit the audience for past posts easily. So if you think you've made some embarrassing public posts before and hadn’t yet friended your boss, this is the tool for you.

To do this, go to Home > Privacy Settings and find the section for “Limit the Audience for Past Posts." Then, click on the “Manage Past Post Visibility” link. Follow the prompts and confirmation to limit all of your “More than Friends” posts from your past to just your friends.

This will include public posts and friends of friends, so it should catch all those unexpected posts. There’s no way to reverse it with one click, so make sure it’s what you really want to do.

You can also manually tweak individual items on your page. To do this, head to the box containing the post you want to feature or delete. The feature/hide buttons are right next to each other in the top right of every update.

To limit default privacy for future posts, there’s a simple choice to make on your privacy settings page.

3. Check the contact information you've posted in your About (Contact Info) page
Go to your profile and click on “About” to see your work history, education, relationships, contact details and other details. Each piece of information can be limited to friends, custom friend groups or just yourself. Edit the section according to your correct preferences, then click on the icon to the right of any piece of information in order to change who can see it.

To learn more about Facebook privacy in general, check out their Privacy page here.

Beware of Facebook Worms and Scams

Facebook, the social network created by Mark Zuckerberg in 2004, almost has one billion members and a website value of 50 billion dollars.

Every day, anyone who has a Facebook account can post pictures, status messages, videos, notes, links and comments which are shared with their friends or network. As we see our friends' posts and somewhat became interested, we click on them to view or know more. However, we must be careful because there are evil hackers in the web who get into our friends' accounts and post stuff, making us prone to become victims of scams and clickjacking.

Here are some tips that you can follow to stay away from online hassles:

1. Check the Links

Look through the links that you open or copy and paste into your browsers. Once a user pastes the JavaScript (malicious code) into the browser, the "clickjacker" will have control over your profile and your profile can easily become infected. The virus will start spreading to the profiles of your friends.

2. Watch Out for Phishing Schemes

Be extremely cautious when it comes to phishers trying to gain access to your profile. Sometimes you can receive these through your email or even a post on your page. To recognize a phishing scheme, you must always read the URL in the top address bar of your explorer. Never sign into Facebook through a link or another website without making sure it says https://www.facebook.com/ first. One a phisher tricks you, most likely through group invitations, groups or fake malicious pages, your profile becomes hacked.

3. Don't Welcome the "Koobface" Worm

This worm is passed from one user to another through posts. Once clicked, it will prompt you to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player. If you are ignorant much, initial reaction is to just download and install. Once you've done these procedures,, the malware will infecting your computer and your profile will become hijacked. If you want to update your Adobe Flash Player, please visit their official website or update your flash player manually through the control panel.

4. Say No to Fake (and Doubtful) Questionnaires

Once submitted, the scammer will get your personal details and receive a commission. Poor you will get charged.

5. Monitor Your Wall/Timeline for Malicious Rouge Applications

These applications can usually be found on users’ walls/timelines in the form of a link. Once the link is activated, you will be directed to give permission to access your account. One you choose to “allow” the rouge application, it will obtain your home address and cell phone number. The scammers will then send out SMS text messages to you and your friends and phone solicitors.

Be cautious of identity theft as well.

How To Find Your Calling and Generate Wealth

When books, the media or people tell us that the secret to success is to do what we feel passionately about, we frequently ask how we can identify the passion that will bring us the greatest success. Here are some answers:

Think of yourself as a unique individual endowed with many things that make you special. God was not stingy in giving you many powerful qualities. You have more than one passion and more than one talent.

To start the process, first, make a list of all your gifts--talents or characteristics you possess that are special. Beside each, list the positive areas where you are a contrarian or a deviant or a rebel. Your power lies on this list.

Second, list of all those things you love to do or feel passionately about. Include on this list the answer to this key question: what do I GIVE that when I'm giving it I am filled with great joy. Chances are that you love giving what you have in abundance. And what do you have in abundance? Those gifts or talents you put on the first list.

Third, it would be extremely helpful to consider WHY you like a certain activity. What are all those things about a particular activity that feeds your passion? If something lights your fire then you must have some insight into why it does and in what ways it does. Write down what about it inspires you, pleases you, reveals more of yourself to you, makes you laugh, etc.

Fourth, think of ways or activities that involves SEVERAL of your talents, gifts, passions and unique characteristics at the same time. We want to kill two (or more) birds with one stone or better put, hug two or more birds with one embrace. The more passions and gifts that you can intersect at one point the better.

If, for some reason, that intersection of passions does not have a commercial component, modify it with more passions or talents until it does. At the intersection of many passions and talents, there should emerge a service, or a product, or an artwork, or a body of information that can be spun off commercially. This way you get to pursue your passions, grow your talents, give of yourself to others, contribute to a greater good and as a by-product of all this playing around, generate wealth.
